One of the most challenging ways to give is to give to someone whom you know will not be able to pay you back. It's counter-intuitive, counter-protective, and just plain counter-cultural. It's totally normal to count the cost of giving and ask oneself "will this person be able to pay me back?"
Paul Bunyan said it best, “You have not lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
On this day that people normally go for the best deals at the shops, find something for someone else ... pay the bills for a family in need, take someone you know who is struggling out for a nice dinner, give up your sale item for the other person looking for the same thing.
